This position will be responsible for leading the planning, forecasting, reporting, and analytical processes supporting the $500M+ US Surgical business. In addition, they will have responsibility for strategic projects and finance business partnership to the Global Strategy and Marketing organization.
How you’ll make an impact:
- Drive and lead an effective process for developing financial projections including monthly forecasts, the annual operating plan and long-range planning linked to strategic objectives
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial information including results, forecasts, and plans
- Finance business partnership for two organizations: US Surgical Sales & Marketing and Global Strategy & Marketing
- Lead important strategic finance projects
- Lead, mentor, and develop team members
What you'll need (Required):
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or Economics
- Skill levels exceeding the requirements of the Director level
What else we look for (Preferred):
- MBA preferred
- A minimum of twelve years of Accounting/Finance experience; minimum of five years of FP&A experience
- Experience in finance systems and strong excel skills
- Solid understanding of the Financial P&L
- Effective presentation skills and experience presenting information using numbers and responding to questions from key stakeholders
- Ability to quickly learn and ramp up on various functional and project assignments
- Advanced analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with all levels of management
- Ability to work in fast paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- High degree of accuracy & efficiency with attention to detail
- Proactive with an aptitude for problem solving and process improvement
- Good business acumen and solid understanding of GAAP
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to coach, motivate, and develop a team

For California (CA), the base pay range for this position is $169,000 to $240,000 (highly experienced). The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience).
