The Engineer ll, EHS will provide environmental technical expertise to the Edwards EHS program with the primary goal of driving results in compliance, standards and reporting.
You’ll make an impact by:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement processes to ensure compliance with EHS goals and programs
• Oversee programs and processes to drive Global Supply Chain performance against EHS key Sustainability metrics including energy consumption, GHG emissions, water withdrawal and waste generation.
• Evaluate data to ensure accuracy and consistent reporting practices and analyze data for trends, top risks and opportunities.
• Manage energy benchmarking and assessment for global locations; evaluate emerging technologies, markets and industry trends in renewable energy and greenhouse gas emissions measurement and control.
• Provide recommendations for Sustainability strategies.
• Identify opportunities for industry and local recognition for environmental and sustainability achievements.
• Develop internal processes to quantify, forecast and track project-based environmental footprint impacts and reductions.
• Prepare management summaries and reports
• Work with Site EHS and Facilities professionals to identify and scope environmental footprint reduction opportunities and projects.
• Other duties as assigned by management; Participate in emergency response activities
What you’ll need (required):
• Bachelor's Degree minimum of 2 years of related experience OR
• Master's Degree or equivalent in internship, senior projects, or thesis in Engineering, Scientific, or EHS related including either industry or industry/education
What else we look for (preferred):
• Good computer skills in usage of MS Office Suite
• Good documentation, communication and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills
• Solid understanding and knowledge of EPA and global regulations that relate to environmental compliance
• Solid problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills
• Solid understanding of processes and equipment used in assigned work
• Knowledge of and adherence to Edwards Environmental Health and Safety and Quality
• Strict attention to detail
• Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
• Must be able to work in a team environment, including the ability to manage vendors and project stakeholders
• Ability to build productive internal/external working relationships
• Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control

For California (CA), the base pay range for this position is $85,000 to $120,000 (highly experienced). The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience).
