The Implantable Heart Failure Management (IHFM) business unit at Edwards Lifesciences is offering exciting internship opportunities for MBA/graduate students interested in strategic marketing, product management, and healthcare innovation. These projects provide hands-on experience in branding transitions, sales enablement, value proposition development, and product launch strategy. Interns will collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, product, and corporate teams to drive key initiatives that support IHFM’s growth and impact in heart failure management. These roles are ideal for candidates with strong analytical, strategic, and communication skills who are passionate about bringing innovative medical technologies to market.

Following our recent acquisition of Endotronix, we are embarking on exciting new projects to enhance our product offerings and market presence.


How you will make an impact:
This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of marketing, branding, and product development. The intern will work closely with our marketing, communications, and product teams to support key projects that drive our business forward.

  • Assist in rebranding following Edwards Lifesciences' acquisition of Endotronix.

  • Collaborate with teams to align marketing materials with Edwards' identity, emphasizing IHFM’s main product.

  • Implement rebranding across websites, marketing materials, and sales presentations.

  • Manage project timelines and stakeholder engagement for a smooth transition.

  • Design a demo kit for the Cordella system, including various medical devices.

  • Identify packaging solutions and logistics for distributing demo kits to hospitals, conduct market research and interviews to ensure kit effectiveness, and collaborate with vendors to develop and distribute the kits.

  • Develop a tool for sales reps to demonstrate Cordella's impact and financial benefits, by analyzing healthcare economics to support its adoption.

  • Establish communication and training for new product launches, including creating FAQs and training resources for new products.

  • Prioritize software features for physician and patient apps.

  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and software teams to meet user needs.


What you'll need (required):

  • Must not require company sponsorship for an employment-based visa now or in the future.

  • Must be enrolled in a Full-Time MBA program or an accredited graduate program for the duration of their internship. Examples include but are not limited to – Master of Science in Marketing (MSM), Master of Science in Strategic Management, or Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering with a targeted graduation date of Spring 2026.

  • Target GPA of 3.0+ or equivalent.

  • Available full-time for the duration of the summer for a minimum of 10 weeks. Specific dates flexible depending on school schedule.

  • Strong interest in pursuing relevant industry experience within the healthcare and medical devices industry a plus.

What else we look for (Preferred):

  • Minimum of three years of work experience

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong technical/engineering background.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Experience with project management tools is a plus.

Aligning our overall business objectives with performance, we offer competitive salaries, performance-based incentives, and a wide variety of benefits programs to address the diverse individual needs of our employees and their families.

For Illinois, the base pay range for this position is $54,000 to $72,000 (highly experienced).
