You’ll partner cross-functionally with manufacturing operations and sales teams, delivering thoughtful solutions to complex challenges all while developing your knowledge of the medical device industry. The Supply Chain Analyst will provide logistics analysis and operational support within the Global Supply Chain Transportation and Logistics team. This is a great opportunity as this position will support the business growth of our progressive company.
You will make an impact by:
• Assess needs and perform actions required to manage product flow across the supply chain continuum.
• Assist with the daily management and interactions with transportation carriers, 3PL warehouses, Customer Service team, and other internal & external groups to safely transport products to our patients
• Work with external freight forwarders, transportation carriers, Edwards Finance teams, and our freight audit & payment partner to maintain the weekly freight payment process
• Ensure that freight dollars are matched to the proper General Ledger accounts while working on methods to reduce the complexity of our GL coding logic
• Assess transportation vendors to ensure cost, quality, delivery, technical, and service capabilities to meet Edwards requirements; identify and resolve supply chain issues
• Perform routine analysis to improve supply chain operations
• Provide support and data to improve visibility in Global Logistics dashboards, metrics, and communication tools that support our global Business Units, Regional teams, warehouses, and Manufacturing facilities
• Actively participate and contribute execution of complex supply chain related projects (e.g, NPD introductions)
• Maintain processes and procedures (e.g., SOPs, work instructions) for applicable Supply Chain functions
• Provide training to other Supply Chain team members
• Other duties assigned by Leadership; Continuous training on related job functions
What you’ll need (Required):
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field and three (3) years of previous related experience OR
• Master’s Degree in a related field
What else we look for (Preferred):
• Experience working in a medical device and/or regulated industry
• Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, Global Supply Chain, and Quality systems (e.g, SQMS, JDE, JDA)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills
• Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Solid knowledge and understanding of Edwards policies, procedures and guidelines relevant to local and/or global supply chain including FDA and ISO laws and regulations applicable to medical device industry
• Strict attention to detail
• Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
• Must be able to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams, representing the organization on specific projects, and vendors/suppliers
• Ability to build productive internal/external working relationships
• Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control

For California, the base pay range for this position is $66,000 to $94,000 (highly experienced).
