Key Responsibilities:
• Provide engineering services activities and manage the workflow of regional product returns to full-service centers including installed base of capital equipment and recurrent testing
• Identify areas of opportunity with the existing processes and lead the execution of projects/initiatives to increase effectiveness, efficiency, and improve customer experience in collaboration with cross functional teams
• Act as main point of contact for local external service provider to ensure the service providers are following Edwards policy and procedures and have correct and updated procedures. Partner with commission local service provider to carry out services on Edwards devices per quality policy. Provide training and monitor certification status of service provider as needed. Lead the implementation of software updates with 3rd parties/distributors and ensure install base records accurately reflect the software installed
• Provide detailed reports and metrics on product and services within the region (e.g., LATAM) to stakeholders, actively involved in formulating service activities by sharing market information
• Provide insight on local needs for consideration/adjustment in the strategy

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field , 5 years of previous related knowledge Required;
Electrical or electronic Background Preferred;
Experience with capital equipment servicing Preferred
Advanced English Required
Additional Skills:
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with the ability to learn complex products through independent learning
• Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; JDE or equivalent experience preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including negotiating and relationship management skills
• General knowledge of the medical device industry preferred
• Substantial understanding and knowledge of principles, theories, and concepts relevant to Engineering
• Strict attention to detail
• Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
• Must be able to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams and key contact representing the organization on contracts or projects
• Ability to interact with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations
• Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
