How you will make an impact:
Support the Surgical Structural Heart Global Health Economics & Reimbursement (GHER) team.
Play a key role in the messaging strategy and deployment of evidence generation initiatives, including the economics of lifetime management of aortic stenosis.
Conduct data analysis and communicate strategic recommendations from the analysis results
Understand and document the coding, coverage, and reimbursement policies for Surgical therapies.
Analyze the latest reimbursement trends and policies that impact cardiovascular surgery, including hospital profitability
Support reimbursement initiatives globally, including US and Asia Pacific
Develop a foundational understanding of health economics & reimbursement in the US and Asia Pacific
What you'll need (required):
Internship applicants must be enrolled in an accredited graduate healthcare program for the entire duration of their internship. Examples include – MA in health economics, PhD in health economics, MPH, MHA, MA in Healthcare Decision Analysis.
Must graduate December 2025 or later.
Must be in good scholastic standing (3.5+ GPA or equivalent)
Must be available to work 10-12 weeks full-time over the course of the summer. Specific dates flexible depending on school schedule.
Must not require company sponsorship for an employment-based visa now or in the future.
What else we look for (Preferred) :
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills.
Strong interest in pursuing relevant industry experience within the healthcare and medical devices industry is a plus.
Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel.
Proven successful project management leadership skills.

For California (CA), the base pay range for this position is $54,000 to $72,000 (highly experienced).
The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience). Applications will be accepted while this position is posted on our Careers website.
