We recently announced plans to expand in Spain by building a new, state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Moncada, Valencia. When it becomes operational in 2026, the plant will manufacture Edwards' surgical and transcatheter heart valve replacement technologies and will join a global network of more than 16,000 talented team members and five other production plants. Our new facility in Moncada will welcome up to 1,500 dedicated team members by 2029 across manufacturing, engineering, and several other professional career paths. Hiring for professional positions has started and will continue through the winter and early spring, with specialized training for manufacturing hires beginning in the fall of 2025.

The role:

The Senior Specialist is responsible for overall Talent Management and Learning (TM&L) operations in Edwards Lifesciences Valencia plant. The role reports to Manager, HR Solutions TM&L.


How you will make an Impact:

  • Partner with the HR and Leadership team to identify and recommend solutions for talent management and development needs.
  • Partner closely with global TM&L center of expertise on various programs and initiatives and their delivery strategy.
  • Delivery of the site talent development strategy and roll-out of global programs.
  • Planning and administration of the plant training calendar, incl. managing training records, regular training facilitation and continuous feedback evaluation.
  • Ownership and management of any training grant processes, education assistance process and support delivery and continuous development of the onsite development programs.
  • Support yearly performance management processes, employee engagement surveys.
  • Monitoring, tracking and interpreting metrics to align with talent development strategy.
  • Find opportunities to streamline and increase operational efficiencies, and to continually develop the training strategy to continuously ensure operational excellence and an excellent employee experience.
  • Engage with third-party providers to establish, develop, and review training services, and ensure that third-party vendors adhere to established service level agreements, invoicing.
  • Ad-hoc project work.

 

What you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field, 5+ years of work experience in Human Resources
  • HR and Talent Management and Learning Development domain expertise
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, fluent in English and Spanish required
