Edwards is pleased to be recognized on the 2022 list of World’s Top Female-Friendly Companies, published by Forbes. In partnership with Statista, Forbes worked to identify the 400 companies excelling in championing women at work. Honorees were selected in part due to their competitive pay and strong career advancement opportunities but also flexible work arrangements which are considered critical to correct gender inequities. For the analysis, Statista surveyed approximately 85,000 women working at multinational institutions in 36 countries to determine which ones excel in gender equality in career advancement opportunities, parental leave, and more. In 2022, Edwards ranked 156th overall.

Edwards Lifesciences was recognized by S&P Global as being in the top 15% of its industry (health care equipment and supplies), among 61 industries and 7,500 companies assessed, of which only 716 companies with top scores qualified for membership. Edwards’ performance earned the company a spot in S&P Global’s annual Sustainability Yearbook, which identifies companies strongly positioned to create long-term shareholder value through corporate sustainability. According to S&P Global, sustainable companies in the health care equipment and supplies sector focus on developing innovative and highly differentiated products and on demonstrating their products’ clinical and economic benefits. Moreover, they adopt consistent, value- and stakeholder-oriented corporate strategies and governance systems based on effective human and intellectual capital management and transparent reporting frameworks. In addition to being a constituent of the S&P Global 500 investment index, Edwards is included in the S&P 500 ESG Index.

Edwards received recognition as part of ESG Book’s inaugural Top 100 ESG Companies in 2022. ESG Book is a sustainability data and technology company, incubated by Arabesque in 2018. ESG Book compiled the Top 100 ESG Companies ranking by examining the companies within its platform that have a market value of at least USD $10 billion. There are three components to each company’s ranking: the ESG Score measures how well companies are managed on sustainability issues; the Temperature Score measures companies’ climate impact; and the GHG emissions component considers the reported and estimated greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions of companies. The result of this three-pronged approach is meant to provide a holistic view of the ESG and climate performance of the globe’s corporate ESG leaders. In 2022, Edwards ranked 20th overall.
