How you’ll make an impact:
- Lead key FP&A analyses supporting executive financial presentations, including for the Board of Directors
- Provide strong partnership with cross-functional teams to provide accurate and timely Wall Street guidance
- Present and defend strategic financial concepts to varying levels of management, including executive level
- Provide guidance and drive the creation and tracking of financial component of EW bonus plan
- Support Edwards strategic growth through the annual and long-term planning processes
- Proactively identifies management and business needs and successfully develops business cases for process improvement-related projects
- Interface across all of EW finance as well as Strategy and HR
- Mentor and develop more junior team members to ensure team-wide development and success
- Other incidental duties
What you'll need (Required):
- Bachelor's Degree in in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business or Mathematics
- A minimum of ten years of Finance/Accounting experience (OR eight years with a Master's degree)

- MBA
- CPA
- Financial or strategy analysis
- Expert understanding of finance models
- Strategic thought partner
- Proven expertise in MS Office Suite, including advanced Excel, database tools (e.g., QlikView), financial systems, and ERP systems (e.g., JDE, SAP)
- Excellent facilitation and presentation skills
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives
- Expert understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)
- Proven ability to build trusted partnerships within varying levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to represent leadership on projects within a specific area interfacing with project managers and finance team
- Demonstrated ability to consult in project setting within specific financial area
- Demonstrated ability to provide financial leadership to outsourcing partners on a task level

For California, the base pay range for this position is $115,000 to $163,000 (highly experienced).
