Make a meaningful difference to patients around the world. As a part of the Clinical Sales team, you will be a critical part of delivering our patient focused innovations, partnering with clinical professionals, and training them on using our groundbreaking products. Your knowledge of working within the hospital ecosystem, combined with our in-depth training program, will help develop you into an Edwards subject matter expert, so you can play your own part in transforming patient lives.
You will make an impact by:
Develops clinical education materials in connection with clinical investigations. Provides expertise and clinical insights on the device, procedure and protocol throughout the life cycle of the clinical investigation.
Provide education on all aspects of the device, device handling, implantation and troubleshooting techniques related to equipment, tools and products required for device implants
Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel and hospital staff on technical matters related to investigational products and procedures through conducting and/or coordinating one-on-one ad hoc training sessions and in-service structured education programs
Builds and manages strong, long-lasting relationships with customers, referrers, surgeons and other influencers in assigned region to push Edwards positioning in the market utilizing creativity and influencing skills with new or existing customers on buying decisions using tact and diplomacy
Develops and closes new business opportunities with existing customers and identifies areas of improvement to meet sales targets while developing and executing annual plan to achieve region objectives
Develop and continuously improve training curriculum, training materials and training tools, based on clinical trial experience
Throughout commercial procedures, provide physicians and medical staff with required follow-up support to ensure continuity of education and technical support related to all aspects of clinical research
Plan and implement growth strategies within focused accounts
Learns the product(s), physiology, anatomy, applications and “language” of the market and Edwards Lifesciences
Regularly reviews clinical support activities, changes in the market and assigned accounts
Other incidental duties assigned by Leadership
What you’ll need (Required):
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
2-5 years of experience in medical device and/or clinical experience.
Full knowledge and understanding of cardiovascular science
Full understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, pathology and physiology
Fluent English (Verbal / Written) - Must, Other languages – an advantage

Full understanding of medical device regulatory requirements and documents, device accountability and adverse events reporting

Must be able to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams and key contact representing the organization on contracts or projects
