You will make an impact by...
• Manage and oversee the work of assigned team within Country/Regional Supply Chain and may indirectly manage cross functional or matrix teams as appropriate. Develop a robust talent development plan in alignment with functional growth strategies of the department
• Identify risk, develop and lead in the implementation of supply chain strategies within assigned areas of responsibility which may include negotiations with internal and external parties
• Identify, validate and implement within "plan, source, deliver/return" continuum (e.g., supply chain operational reference model) that align with key business strategies
• Manage a team to oversee distribution flows within geographic region for product lines with increased complexity while ensuring cost and customer service targets are met with financial relevance and may indirectly manage cross functional or matrix teams as appropriate including responsibility as a cost owner
• Manage to create demand/supply forecast for product lines with increased complexity while ensuring customer service levels meet corporate objectives within inventory guidelines with financial relevance and may indirectly manage cross functional or matrix teams as appropriate.
• Lead in the execution of strategic initiatives (e.g, network, mode, or sourcing changes)
• Drive continuous improvement based on lean and Six Sigma principles
What you'll need (Required)
Bachelor's Degree in in related field Demonstrated track record in people management Required
Master's Degree or equivalent Experience working in a regulated industry Preferred
What else we look for (Preferred):
• Proven successful project management leadership skills
• Proven expertise in both Microsoft Office Suite and related systems including JDE, Advanced Planning Systems working with Demand Flow methodology
• Excellent facilitation and presentation skills
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills including high discretion/judgment in decision making
• Excellent documentation and communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives
• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English and Chinese
• Recognized as an expert in supply chain with specialized depth within the organization
• Extensive understanding of Edwards policies, procedures and guidelines relevant to local and/or global supply chain including FDA and ISO laws and regulations
• Knowledge of financial mechanism that relates to supply chain
• Knowledge of medical device standards and policies related to supply chain
• Ability to transfer essential knowledge and mentor other team members on specialized skills. Collaborate with cross functional teams
• Demonstrated ability to manage a team and provide coaching and feedback, including responsibility for all employee actions including hire/fire authority and partnering with HR on all aspects of employee relations
• Ability to work in ambiguous situations and build business framework to navigate through complexity
• Strict attention to detail
• Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization
• Ability to work and excel within a fast paced, dynamic, and constantly changing work environment
