How you will make an impact:
Product Vision & Backlog Management
Be the Product Owner for a patient facing mobile app.
Creating and maintain a prioritized Product Backlog, ensuring transparency and clarity for the development team.
Support the team in preparing for Sprints by refining and prioritizing Backlog items.
Support the organization by making the order and forecasted delivery of backlog items transparent.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
Organize and contribute to Sprint Reviews
Work daily with Developers to clarify requirements and scope
Support stakeholder communication, gathering and documenting feedback, maintaining a list of follow ups, and keeping stakeholders and managers informed
Customer Experience
Own the monitoring and assignment of deployed products/tablets (experience with SureMDM or other mobile device/end point management services helpful)
Contribute to defining the product’s user journey and assist in creating basic user personas.
Help monitor user feedback and satisfaction, interface with customer service teams to monitor complaints, and aligning features with business objectives and customer needs.
Decision Making & Experimentation
Assist with backlog ordering, balancing user value, technical effort, and business priorities.
Participate in small-scale experiments and hypothesis-driven tasks to test early concepts and assess potential features.
Continuous Learning & Improvement
Develop evidence-based management techniques by helping track product metrics and outcomes.
Work with senior team members to refine processes for change, risk, quality, and incident management.
What you'll need (Required):
Bachelor's Degree in a related field
8+ years experience of hands on experience managing projects of increasing complexity
What else we look for (Preferred):
Scrum Product Owner certifications like PSPO, PSPO-II or A-CSPO
Ability to quickly synthesize information from a variety of sources, create a plan of action, and follow through
Product Owner Experience; Demonstrable experience of product ownership;
Business domain knowledge; a keen understanding of medical app development, market, and other influencers;
Entrepreneurial focus; A keen understanding of evidence-based techniques to inform strategic and tactical milestones;
Excellent ideation skills; with a proven track record of successful hypothesis-driven ideation and sustainable feedback loops;
Excellent communication skills; Communicating Vision, Goals, and Backlog Items with both the Developers and other Stakeholders;
Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO), Modern Requirements for ADO
Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control

For Illinois, the base pay range for this position is $118,000 to $167,000 (highly experienced).
