We have a very exciting opportunity for a Manager of Imaging Development to join our Procedural Development team in Europe, providing imaging expertise for our Transcatheter Mitral and Tricuspid Therapies (TMTT) business area.

This role location is flexible and can be based from one of our European locations, with regular Europe-wide travel.

How you will make an impact:

This role will provide expertise as Imaging Subject Matter Expert (Echo, CT and Fluoroscopy) focused on leveraging novel interventional and screening imaging tools that can help drive the adoption of Edwards Transcatheter Mitral and Tricuspid Therapies and streamline procedures. You will provide imaging and data analysis that helps improve patient selection, procedural safety & efficacy, and further develops both internal and physician training content. Key partner to HCPs and external imaging vendors in the development of new imaging tools that meet the needs of TMTT's growing business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead collaborations with global cross functional partners, imaging vendors and HCPs to develop imaging technologies, streamline procedure guidance and optimize patient selection criteria. Lead prioritization of projects from EU perspective.

  • Support procedures in the field (across the entire portfolio) that are relevant to the development of our imaging capabilities. Gather learnings and disseminate to the relevant training stakeholders.

  • Post-op analysis of CT/Echo to extract new learnings from the field (e.g SAEs, aborted procedures, novel clinical scenarios) and generate content for training purposes.

  • Create and/or review imaging educational content for internal stakeholder meetings or specific Marketing-lead events (congresses, roundtables, SHF)

  • Analysis of screening and procedural data to evolve our understanding of patient segmentation and outcome predictability

  • Provide technical guidance on the handling of complaints and investigations

  • Other incidental duties: Attend and educate at conferences as needed


What you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related scientific (health care) field , 5 years years experience Required

  • Extensive Echo imaging experience, and knowledge within the field of cardiology and structural heart disease


We also look for:

  • Experience in clinical practice, physician engagement within this field, and/or medical device proctoring.

  • Innovative mindset, with the vision to adapt novel technologies into clinical practice

  • Experience in CT analysis and Fluoroscopy desirable

  • Echo TOE and/or TOE expertise

  • Training experience

  • Data analysis and research experience.

  • Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and related tools and systems

  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills including high discretion/judgment in decision making

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives

  • Extensive knowledge of own area within the organization while contributing to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards

  • Extensive understanding of related aspects of processes and/or systems

  • Ability to provide physicians and their teams with all aspects related to the use of Edwards products; device and procedure understanding and implementation

  • Strict attention to detail

  • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels

  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment

  • Ability to represent leadership on sections of projects within a specific area interfacing with physicians, stakeholders, and team members

  • Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
