You’ll partner cross-functionally with manufacturing operations and sales teams, delivering thoughtful solutions to complex challenges all while developing your knowledge of the medical device industry. The Sr. Supply Chain Analyst, Sourcing will support various R&D teams located in the different Edwards Business Units. Responsibilities include building strong relationships with both your internal teams and suppliers to help support the R&D teams with sourcing options and strategic direction. This will include evaluating suppliers, issuing RFQ’s, performing source selection, capacity assessments, assessing risk factors and managing the relationships with key and strategic suppliers for the project. Other responsibilities may include cross functional team projects and conducting R&D focused Business reviews with key suppliers.
How you’ll make an impact:
• Responsible for defining, gaining support, and executing Sourcing activities for assigned R&D projects
•Plan, lead, and execute supply chain and sourcing projects and/or activities with accountability for successful completion of all project deliverables within a moderate degree of complexity and may have a moderate level of financial impacts
• Identify and evaluate supply chain and sourcing process improvement and/or course correction/course alignment opportunities. Work with cross-functional teams to define, manage, and lead changes
• Perform a variety of analyses to assess business risks and cost saving opportunities with a moderate level of financial relevance (e.g., local, regional and limited global impact, product line) to drive outcomes across supply chain, sourcing, and category strategies delivering value
• Other incidental duties as assigned.
What you’ll need (Required):
• Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field (preferred) and 5 years of related experience OR
• Master's Degree in Business or related field (preferred) and 3 years of related experience
What Else We Look For (Preferred):
• Experience working in a medical device and/or regulated industry
• R&D, NPI, NPD experience
• Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, Global Supply Chain, and Quality systems (e.g., SQMS, JDE, JDA) required
• Good project management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including negotiating and relationship management skills
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Full knowledge and understanding of Edwards policies, procedures and guidelines relevant to local and/or global supply chain including FDA and ISO laws and regulations applicable to medical device industry
• Advanced problem-solving skills
• Strict attention to detail
• Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
• Leadership, talent development and communication skills
• Must be able to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams, key contact representing the organization on contracts or projects, and vendors/suppliers

For California, the base pay range for this position is $78,000 to $110,000 (highly experienced).
