Launch a focused technical engineering career in R&D, Operations or Quality through the Edwards University Engineering Program.

Pair up with a senior-level engineer for mentorship guidance — a resource to help you navigate our culture and your professional development as you dive deep into rigorous and appealing projects. Your work will be concentrated in one of the following business units: Surgical Structural Heart, Transcatheter Heart Valves, Transcatheter Mitral & Tricuspid Therapies, or Advanced Technology. The program culminates with direct entry into an engineering role, one that gives you the chance to make your mark at Edwards.

What we look for

  • B.S. or M.S. in Engineering from an accredited university
  • Anticipated graduation date of fall of the current year or spring of the following year
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale)
  • Must not require company sponsorship for an employment-based visa now or in the future

In addition, we consider a broad range of engineering backgrounds, including Biomedical, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Industrial, Materials, Manufacturing, Quality, Management and more.

Those who are most likely to excel in the University Engineering Program have some technical exposure in lean/six sigma, commercialization, Research & Development, Manufacturing or Quality Engineering, along with project work experience or internships that demonstrate technical capability.

You’ll also want to leverage your existing engineering and technical knowledge, plus your ability to work effectively with a diverse team. Finally, exceptional analytical abilities along with strong communication and collaboration skills balance the characteristics needed for a successful career.
