Patients with mitral and tricuspid heart valve disease often have complex conditions with limited treatment options. Surgical aortic valve replacement (SAVR) and repair treatment options include replacing or repairing the valve through standard open-heart surgery or small-incision surgery for a minimally invasive approach to address a patient's unmet clinical needs. How you will make an impact:
You will serve as main point of contact within the Surgical business unit for the assigned customer base, utilizing a good understanding of the surgical cardiovascular market in Egypt.
You are responsible for the clinical support and sales growth of the assigned surgical portfolio in collaboration with Edward’s management and local distribution partners.
You will utilize your knowledge of the cardiovascular market to provide regular clinical operation support, trainings, market analysis updates and stakeholder engagement plans for Surgeons, Nurses and the UPA. Specifically:
Serve as a point of contact within own business unit for assigned customer base utilizing full understanding of Surgical Portfolio and/or cardiovascular anatomy, pathology and physiology
Provide on-site, case coverage and clinical support during operations.
Develop and close new business opportunities with existing customers and identifies areas of improvement to meet sales targets while developing and executing annual plan to achieve region objectives
Builds and manage strong, long-lasting relationships with customers, referrers, surgeons and other influencers in assigned region to push Edwards positioning in the market utilizing creativity and influencing skills with new or existing customers on buying decisions using tact and diplomacy
Provide education on all aspects of Edwards Surgical devices, device handling, implantation and troubleshooting techniques.
Coordinate one-on-one training sessions and in-service education programs in the hospital environment or to distribution partners.
What you'll need (Required):
Fluent in Arabic and English (French is a plus)
Based in Egypt
A willingness to travel up to 70% (In a field position based on business needs)
Full knowledge of the strengths and limitations of own products and competitor products
3-5 years of previous related experience in medical device sales and/or clinical experience in cardiac surgery or interventional cardiology in Egypt
Full knowledge of customer organizations and how market environment impacts customers
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
Understands customer needs, feedback and objections and explains products to influence customer perception of value
Utilizes creativity and influencing skills with new or existing customers on buying decisions using tact and diplomacy
Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control

Proven expertise in MS Office Suite
Ability to manage confidential information with discretion

Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels
Must be able to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams and representing the organization on specific projects
Location: The position will be based in Egypt. The position will require travel to the North Africa region.
