This is a temporary position for 6 month (40 hours/week), with possibility of prolongation/and potential permanent employment.
How you’ll make an impact:
- Journal Entries: Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
- Account Reconciliation: Maintain and balance accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions, and resolving discrepancies. Detect and investigate any differences between records and statements.
- Financial Reporting: Summarize financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports in accordance with GAAP and IFRS
- Month-End and Year-End Close: Support the month-end and year-end close process by preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts.
- Account Management: Drafting statutory accounts, preparing bank analyses, data entry into the accounting system
- Payables: Managing invoices, timely submission and support AP and Payments team
- VAT Reporting
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with legal requirements by cooperating with local consultants to file financial reports and preparing evidence for tax returns. Stay updated on accounting standards and regulations.
- Technical Knowledge Development: Learning about bookkeeping, taxes, auditing, and using various accounting software packages.
What you'll need (Required):
- A university degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (completed within the last 2 years), or currently pursuing a Master’s degree or further studies.
- Fluency in English

- Technical skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PDF
- Analytical skills: Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports
- Attention to detail: Ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and data entry
- Communication skills: Effective communication skills for interacting with team members and other stakeholders
- Team collaboration: Work closely with senior accountants and other finance team members to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Proficiency in Arabic is considered a valuable advantage.
