Shape the future of our industry through innovation

Noted for diverse rotations that provide multi-product exposure, the 18-month Engineering TDP experience will accelerate your transition to a Technical Leadership career. You’ll complete four practical rotation assignments across various businesses and functions, all with a level of flexibility that allows you to shape your program path around your interests and goals.

The program

The program’s overall design enables you to develop a broad perspective of key technical and operational elements within Edwards through formal and informal training opportunities, interaction with senior leaders, and ongoing personal and professional mentorship.

TDPs have the opportunity to rotate across all businesses and functions through four rotations that last 17 to 20 weeks in each of the functional areas below.

Your work in this area will include exposure to research or new product development, a major focus at Edwards where ongoing investment in R&D means a steady pipeline of exciting new technologies and leading medical innovations. Under the guidance of senior R&D engineers, you’ll test, create, validate and design in support of our products. It’s a great way to learn from experienced engineers while contributing your input and ideas to the project team.

  • Strong analytical, problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Business acumen and global mindset; able to operate across cultures
  • Strong interest in pursuing relevant industry experience within the healthcare and medical devices industry a plus
What we look for

Requirements

  • B.S. or M.S. in Engineering from an accredited university
  • Anticipated graduation date of fall of the current year or spring of the following year
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale)
  • Must not require company sponsorship for an employment-based visa now or in the future.

In addition, we consider a broad range of engineering backgrounds, including Biomedical, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Industrial, Materials, Manufacturing, Quality,  Management and more.
