Duration: Minimum of 6 months, 40hours/week

How you will make an impact:
- Investigate basic manufacturing product quality and compliance issues (e.g, CAPA, non-conformances, audit observations) for all production processes prior to final product release based on engineering principles
- Analyze results, make recommendations and develop reports.
- Optimize Manufacturing processes using engineering methods (e.g., SIX Sigma and LEAN methods) for design for manufacturing and for continuous process improvement.
- Identify opportunities for re-design/design of basic equipment, tools, fixtures, etc. to improve manufacturing processes, and reduce risk.
What you’ll need:
- Enrolled University student (Bachelor/Master) with Engineering or Science degree, interested in medical device.
- In the last year of the degree.
- Comfortable working in English.
- Full-time (40h/week) availability for min. 6 months
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Communication and relationship-building skills.
- Basic knowledge of medical terms and human anatomy.
- Big plus: knowledge of Medical Device Vigilance regulations, and regulatory reporting regulations.
