This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced solutions delivery leader to transform Salesforce and eventually ERP delivery in our Prague Competency Center.  The Prague Competency Center sets the standards for how work is delivered and ensures the proper expertise and staffing are available.  We are looking for a transformative leader than can assist the team with maturing our Agile delivery practice and, long-term, broaden the Centers scope to include ERP delivery.  The individual in this role must be a strong people leader with global team experience, have solid English communication skills that can influence others to action, be comfortable working in a highly-matrix, team-oriented IT environment, and have a robust background delivering technology solutions in Salesforce; with an aptitude to expand to ERP delivery in the future.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement delivery standards for applications and platforms related to Sales/CRM, Anaplan, and Enterprise Analytics solutions
  • Partner with IT Business Partners, Enterprise Architecture, and business stakeholders for demand analysis, solution proposal/evaluation, and funding estimates
  • Ensure solutions and products are fit for purpose and achieve the desired business value and impact
  • Ensure on time, compliant, secure, and quality delivery of solutions, as defined in the capability roadmaps
  • Utilize industry trends and best practices to identify and build effective and responsive delivery and support scrum teams
  • Accountable for setting and managing priorities and schedules for the Competency Center-based resources and level-set delivery expectations with IT Business Partners and business stakeholders
  • Manage relationships with various technology vendors and business stakeholders to achieve project, enhancement, and service support delivery for the various products supported
  • Coach/mentor team members, including dotted-line reports as necessary.  Align team members in roles to best take advantage of their strengths and to grow/diversify their skillsets
  • Manage planning, staffing, budgeting for the Prague Competency Center

 

 

 

Qualifications/Requirements Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences, Information Technology or Business Administration is required; a master’s degree is preferred. 

Experience

  • IT leadership and strong people management experience in areas of responsibility and in similar roles (broad based, senior level) within a comparably sized or larger multi-national company
  • Must have at least a 10 years proven track record performing in an application delivery function, including 5+ years of work with sales processes and solutions
  • Track record organizing and developing teams as well as SDLC processes to successfully deliver sales-related technology solutions (ie:  Salesforce.com, mobile applications, Anaplan, Model N, etc)
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce is a must, Salesforce Administrator certification is beneficial
  • Experience working with Scaled Agile and a competency center delivery model
  • Strategic thinker, keeping big picture in mind while ensuring execution excellence that enhances business decision making capabilities
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic and highly matrixed multi time-zone environment; working effectively with business functional teams, remote IT teams, as well as cloud hosted or SaaS vendors and partners
  • Excellent English communication, collaboration, and executive presentation skills with ability to influence and motivate at various levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated success in leading large, complex projects within budget and meeting deadlines.
  • Must be passionate about current technological trends and ability to apply to the future vision
  • Demonstrates strong customer, quality, cost, and delivery focus

Working model

  • On-site in Prague office
  • Up to 25% international travel per year
