Explore your interests and sharpen your financial acumen while learning about the various operational aspects of Edwards through the Finance Development Program (FDP). You’ll be on a direct path to a rewarding financial career in a publicly traded company.

The program

This program is more than just crunching numbers. Over two years, you'll learn about the range of financial functions that underpin our publicly traded company and gain hands-on experience by rotating through five core assignments and one elective.

Broaden your expertise through rotations in three of these four functional areas

Financial Planning & Analysis

Get hands-on experience preparing quarterly forecasts and annual operating plans.

Corp Accounting & Reporting

See what goes into monthly and year-end closes, as well as the analysis and reporting of monthly results against plans and forecasts.

Cost Accounting

Learn effective methods for calculating product standard costs, plus analyzing and reporting manufacturing variances and inventory.

Business Unit Finance

Understand how our financial experts support a business unit in monthly close, quarterly forecasting and annual operating plan processes.

Internal Audit

Assist with internal audit engagements across the company.

Treasury or Corporate Tax

Participate in cash flow management, filing tax returns and managing the company’s transfer price system. (elective)

What we look for

  • B.S. or M.S. degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance from an accredited university
  • Anticipated graduation date of fall of the current year or spring of the following year
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale)
  • Must not require company sponsorship for an employment-based visa now or in the future

Additional differentiating assets include:

  • Passion for finance and accounting
  • Relevant, real-world experience through prior projects, internships and co-ops is a plus
  • Ability to excel in a team-based environment
